Glazing

We offer glazing for both residential and commercial buildings. When performing window installations, we ensure that all New Zealand glazing standards are met. In addition to residential and commercial glazing, we can do auto glazing onsite. In our workshop, we have the capability to handle a variety of re-glazing projects.

We are also skilled in providing ranch slider door services, which requires precise glazing, as ranch sliders vary in size and shape. For example, some sliding doors are entire, full panels with no dividers and must be glazed using safety glass. Additionally, we offer wheel repairs for sliding doors, as well, and we stock a wide range of wheels, hinges, handles and security stays in our showroom.

We handle repairs on heavy machinery, vans, buses, motor homes and other vehicles, and if necessary, will remove the piece and transport it to our workshop for repairing needs.

Balustrades, Splashbacks, Showers and Pool Fences

When it comes to projects involving balustrades, splashbacks, showers, and pool fencing, before starting the job, we measure and quote to ensure accuracy. We want the job to be done right with the exact, correct measurements, as we know that once the glass is cut, it hardens and cannot be cut again. Doing it right the first time saves valuable time and money.

In all jobs we complete, even the smallest of details are of great importance to us. For example, in our showroom, we have a plethora of colour options available for you to choose from for splashbacks, and all of the fittings and fixtures on mirrors, showers, pool fencing and balustrades are crafted from stainless steel. Additionally, in case of breakage, all tabletops, shelving, cabinet glass and security mirrors are made to measure using safety glass to prevent cuts.

Puttying and Rubbering

At Ben's Glass, we will gladly handle any puttying or rubbering work you require, but due to the nature of re-puttying existing work, we must do so under the agreement that you will assume all risks. We have this disclaimer in place since the process is delicate, and it is possible during removal that the glass can easily become damaged. Older, thin glass gets brittle and cracks easily over time.
